Product Specification
PA66, chemically known as polyhexanediylhexanediamine, is commonly known as nylon 66. It is a colorless, transparent, semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer widely used in automotive, electrical, and electronic appliances, machinery, instrumentation, industrial parts, and other industries.
PA66 is a PA series of mechanical strength, widely used in varieties. Because of its high crystallinity, its rigidity and heat resistance are higher.
1. Properties: translucent or opaque milky white crystalline polymer with plasticity.
2. Density: 15g/cm3. Melting point 252℃. Brittleness temperature -30℃. Brittle temperature -30℃. Thermal decomposition temperature greater than 350 ℃. Continuous heat resistance of 80-120 ℃, equilibrium water absorption rate of 2.5%. Resistant to acid, alkali, most inorganic salt solutions, halogenated alkanes, hydrocarbons, esters, ketones, and other corrosion, but soluble in phenol, formic acid, and other polar solvents. It has excellent wear resistance, self-lubrication, and high mechanical strength. However, the water absorption is significant, and the dimensional stability is poor.
3. Applications: Widely used in the manufacture of machinery, automobiles, chemical, and electrical device parts, such as gears, rollers, pulleys, rollers, impellers in the pump body, fan blades, high-pressure sealing enclosure, valve seats, gaskets, bushings, a variety of handles, support frames, wire cladding, etc. It can also be made into films used as packaging materials. In addition, it can also be used to produce medical equipment, sporting goods, and daily necessities.
Nylon 66 applications: Nylon 66 is mainly used in automobiles, the machinery industry, electronic appliances, precision instruments, and other fields. From the end-user point of view, the automobile industry consumes nylon 66 in the first place and electronic and electrical appliances in the second place. About 88% of nylon 66 is processed into various parts through injection molding, while about 12% of nylon 66 is processed into corresponding products through extrusion, blow molding, and other molding.
