High-temperature resistance: the use of working temperature up to 250 ℃.

Corrosion resistance: to most chemicals and solvents, showing inertia, resistance to strong acids and alkalis, water, and various organic solvents.

Weather Resistant: Has the best aging life of any plastic.

Highly lubricating - has the lowest coefficient of friction of any solid material.

Non-adhesion: It is the smallest surface tension among solid materials and does not adhere to any substance. Mechanical properties It has a very small coefficient of friction, only 1/5 of that of polyethylene, which is an important feature of perfluorocarbon surfaces. Also, due to the fluorine-carbon chain intermolecular force being extremely low, so PTFE is non-sticky.

Non-toxic: It is physiologically inert and has no adverse reaction when implanted into the body for a long time as artificial blood vessels and organs.

Electrical properties: polytetrafluoroethylene in a wide frequency range of dielectric constant and dielectric loss are very low, and breakdown voltage, volume resistivity, and arc resistance are high.

Radiation resistance: polytetrafluoroethylene radiation resistance is poor (104 rads), caused by high-energy radiation degradation, the electrical properties of polymers and mechanical properties are significantly reduced. Applications PTFE can be compressed or extruded and processed into flat washers; it can also be made into aqueous dispersions for coating, impregnation, or made of fiber. PTFE is widely used in atomic energy, aerospace, electronics, electrical, chemical, mechanical, instrumentation, instrumentation, construction, textile, food and other industries as a sealing tight.

Atmospheric aging resistance, irradiation resistance, and low permeability: after long-term exposure to the atmosphere, the surface and performance remain unchanged.

Incombustibility: limited oxygen index below 90.

Acid and alkali resistance: insoluble in strong acids, alkalis, and organic solvents.

Oxidation resistance: resistant to corrosion by strong oxidizing agents.

Acidity and alkalinity: neutral.
