PCB Standoffs - Hexagonal/Insulator/Nylon & Brass In stock
These Male / Female Standoffs are designed to be installed by hand and do not require assembly equipment. The hex standoffs are suitable for a wide range of applications. They are ideal for use when high mechanical strength is needed and provide sturdy, insulated spacing for high-power electronic applications. They are made of nylon with brass inserts and are rated UL94 V-2.
What are PCB Spacers used for?
PCB spacers, also known as PCB standoffs, are designed to mount a printed circuit board (PCB) in PCB assemblies, such as computers, and are essential for securing boards tightly to the chosen device.
What is the difference between spacers and standoffs?
The primary difference between a PCB standoff and a spacer is that a standoff is threaded on both ends, whereas a spacer is typically unthreaded with an internal clearance hole. A standoff is used to create space between a printed circuit board and another surface, while a spacer is used to create space between two objects. Both PCB standoffs and spacers can be made from various materials such as plastic, metal, or nylon, and come in different shapes and sizes to fit multiple application requirements.
Types of PCB Spacers & Standoffs in our range:
To give you an idea of the breadth of our range, we stock a variety of components, including threaded spacers, nylon PCB spacers, plastic PCB standoffs, PCB standoff pillars, and many more. Mounting type is a key element to consider, too. We stock mounting spacers with various mounting options, including non-threaded, reverse locking, and double-sided. Additionally, we offer a choice of mounting types A and B.
The materials and sizes in our selection vary to ensure we have the correct spacers for your projects, including plastic spacers, nylon spacers, and many more.
