Grommet Nuts provide a low-cost, positive connection to thin-gauge materials, such as sheet metal, as well as PCB applications, serving as an alternative to using a standard nut. Our range is made from Nylon 6/6. Also known as a Nylon Screw Grommet; our range has a UL94 V-2 flame resistance rating and is natural in appearance.
Our grommet nut offers features similar to those of Closed Grommet Nuts and Square Head Grommet Nuts, which are suitable for round or square holes. The Nylon Grommet insulates areas of assembly from electrical and thermal transfer. Nylon Grommet Nuts offer corrosion and vibration resistance, and they mount with a self-tapping screw. A nylon grommet eliminates the need for a nut, making them ideal for blind mounting.
