Relative to ordinary metal rivets, nylon rivets have chemical properties, physical properties, and special characteristics. In insulation, corrosion resistance, acid and alkali, and so on, better than conventional rivets. And its own quality is relatively light. Relative to the screws, nylon rivets in the assembly speed is more convenient, without any tools to complete the assembly. Of course, its shortcomings are also obvious, pulling force is generally inferior to ordinary rivets and screws.
Product Specification
Based on their shape, Nylon66 Snap Rivets are generally categorized into two broad groups: monobloc and split nylon rivets. Monobloc nylon rivets have only one part, while split nylon rivets usually have two parts. Split nylon rivets are more easily disassembled and can be reused. The riveting principle typically includes a male or female member of the extensive support to play the riveting role. There are usually push-type and threaded two structures. The monobloc nylon rivets rely more on the elasticity of the nylon material itself to play the role of riveting.

Browse our Nylon Snap Rivets available in Nylon 6, Nylon 6/6, Nylon 6/66, and Nylon 4/6. The Push-in Rivets are manufactured to UL94 V0 or UL94 V2. These snaps and rivets are fast and economical. The two-piece molded fastener comes assembled and ready to use. They feature specially designed legs that expand and firmly lock the components permanently in place. Heat-resistant options can withstand temperatures of up to 266F (130 °C).
Also available are p-type snap rivets intended for high-temperature applications. Made from black Polysulfide (PSU) and rated UL94 HB, these push-in rivets can withstand temperatures up to 311F (155 °C).
